Awnex looks for the most economical way to ship your project (depending on job size & location). If it is a smaller job, Awnex will typically crate and ship LTL. If it is a large job, it makes more sense to ship it on a dedicated load. Pick up from Awnex headquarters in Ball Ground, GA is also an available option.
For Awnex canopies, the water is directed to either a scupper to the front of the canopy or an outlet to the back of the canopy. A downspout can then be attached to the outlet. Other canopies with simple rain pans have a continuous drip line that can be managed somewhat using a rain diverter.
On the Awnex website, under Systems, choose an Awnex System and scroll to the bottom of that page for blocking details.
You can find Installation Instructions under the Installation tab on our website
Awnex standard powder coated finish is an AAMA 2604 quality finish we have been using for decades. It is extremely durable against fading and pealing. We inventory some standard colors that can be seen on our website here. We also offer an AAMA 2605, Kynar finish that improves the fading durability (lead times vary and size restrictions pertain). This carries an up-charge that is determined by color and volume. Simply contact us for a quote.
The Awnex warranty requires our products to be free from defective material and workmanship, when properly maintained and installed, under normal use and service for 12 months after installation.
No, Awnex has our own Powder Coating facility. This ensures that your project stays under one roof from start to finish.
You will be assigned a Project Manager (PM) once a quote is submitted/initialized.
Awnex awnings and canopies help project teams with their goals for LEED® Certification of New Construction/Major Renovations (NC) and Commercial Interiors (CI). Awnex systems are at least 85% aluminum (by weight). On average, the aluminum contains 7.5% post-consumer and 60% pre-consumer recycled content.
